Our team brought a class action for breach of fiduciary duties and unjust enrichment related to a major financial institution’s mutual fund practices. Following substantial litigation in state and federal court, the matter settled for $127 million. This settlement was recognized as the fourth highest of the decade for the period 2000 – 2010 and the Largest Plaintiff Win for 2010 by Missouri Lawyers Weekly.

In another class action related to revenue sharing on mutual funds by a separate top financial institution, our attorneys won a $60 million judgment in favor of our clients. This case involved an unprecedented three removals to federal court and three remands to state court. The settlement was recognized as the Largest Plaintiff Win for 2011 by Missouri Lawyers Weekly.
